We chose to stay two nights on the boat, so then we could have a full day to travel around the bay and I think this was certainly a valid choice. |

The staff were really friendly. The cruise manager was really nice and made sure everything was up to satisfaction. I would highly suggest to do the 3 day instead of the 2 day. I think the 2 day is not long enough to see all of halong bay. on our boat there was another couple that went with us the extra day of excursion. The extra day, we actually go on another boat, and travel to an island where we do a lot of kayaking(especially through caves), and bicycling on an island visiting an old village. If you have the time definitely do 3 days. the boat was new and clean. wake up early for tai chi lessons, and great time to take pictures of the peaceful bay around sunrise. becareful of jellyfish in the bay, atleast when we were there. overall great cruise. more expensive, but worth it. |

We were assigned to a room on the upper deck, next to the restaurant and a few steps to the sun deck. It didn’t concern us as to how big the room is or what it looks like, but it was functional, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The A/C ran very well both days and we didn’t smell any smoke (which my girlfriend is sensitive to). The bed was super comfy and the view from the room was awesome. The bathroom wasn’t the largest but was very comfortable and the closet was ideal for the bags. |

My girlfriend and I’ve just come back from Halong bay and are still going on about our travels in Vietnam. Frankly we’re quite hesitant to write this review but think it’s important for us to share with you all when the memory is still fresh. |

We had a wonderful 3 day/2 night trip aboard Pelican . Their service is excellent, we were looked after so well on board. The boats are great - spacious, well furnished; the food is of a very high standard (Im a veggie, and they prepared at least 4 dishes especially for me!); and the bedroom and bathroom are very well fitted out. |

The food was great, staff very helpful and accomodating, and the visit to the surprising caves and kayaking next day were just amazing. Next time we would definitely recommend the 2 night cruise to fully enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay and to relax. |

We luckily got a great cruise for our uxcursion to Halong Bay in the early of January. We enjoyed our trip for 2 days excursion on Luxury Pelican Cruise. It was basically picked up at hotel at 8am, we got on board for lunch at 1pm after 4 hours on the rough ways from Hanoi to the Halong Harbor. The weather was a big pressure once we could not go for swimming, we did kayaking throughout the grottoes insteads. A cooking demonstration on the boat was great by making Vietnamese cuisine(Spring Rolls and Noodles).Overall, we had a great excursion for two days trip in Halong Bay
